Code Cell (infiniteLoop)
Led and rebuilt my college's coding community, growing it from 4 members to 200+ while building a competitive programming culture and organizing large-scale coding events.

College
Overview
I became the head of infiniteLoop, the coding club under Code Cell, at the beginning of my second year of college. At the time, the club had only four members after the previous members had graduated.
I rebuilt the community around competitive programming, algorithmic problem solving, and regular technical activities, growing it to more than 200 members by the end of my third year.
I was also the youngest person to become the head of a club or committee in my college's history.
Contributions
-
Rebuilt infiniteLoop from 4 to 200+ members, creating an active coding community and encouraging students to participate in competitive programming and programming contests.
-
Established competitive programming as a core activity, encouraging members to participate in CodeChef, online programming contests, and other competitions.
-
Led the college's CodeChef Campus Chapter, organizing activities and contests around competitive programming.
-
Organized Project Code 1.0 and Project Code 2.0, two open-to-all programming contests with more than 5,000 participants combined from 50+ countries.
-
Organized Project Her 1.0, a women-only coding contest that attracted *1,700+ participants- and became one of the largest events of its kind.
-
Started Algo Talks, a technical session series where members discussed algorithms, problem-solving techniques, and interesting programming problems.
-
*Organized introductory sessions and activities- to encourage students with different levels of programming experience to join the community and start participating in competitive programming.
Impact
Through infiniteLoop, I focused on building a culture where students regularly solved problems, participated in competitions, and learned from each other rather than treating the club as a traditional college activity.
